PROCEDURES IN ORTHODONTICS
  • BLEACHING : Tooth whitening or tooth bleaching is the process of lightning the color of teeth. Whitening is often desirable when teeth become yellowed over time for a number of reasons, and can be achieved by changing the intrinsic or extrinsic color of the tooth enamel.
  • DEPIGMENTATION OF GUMS : Gum pigmentation is a procedure used in cosmetic dentistry to lighten or remove black spots or patches on the gums consisting of melanin.
  • VENEERING : Veneers are thin coverings that are placed over the front (visible) part of the tooth. They look like natural teeth. Veneers can be used to correct a wide range of dental issues, such as teeth that are stained and can't be whitened by bleaching, chipped or worn teeth, crooked or misshapen teeth, uneven spaces or a large gap between the upper front teeth.
