Endodontics is the branch of dentistry concerning dental pulp and tissues surrounding the roots of a tooth.

• ROOT CANAL TREATMENT (RCT):It is typically done to save a tooth . It is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent reinfection of the tooth.
• POST CORE : A post and core crown is a type of dental restoration required where there is an inadequate amount of sound tooth tissue remaining to retain a conventional crown. A post is cemented into a prepared root canal, which retains a core restoration, which retains the final crown
